Globo, the moon on a cord
Globo is a frosted white sphere in the plainest possible sense: no ornament, no visible hardware, just a soft glowing form. In Imperial White it looks like a paper lantern made rigid, and at 25.6 inches it becomes a moon above a table.
Four sizes mean the same shape can be a bedside accent or an architectural statement, and a standard E26/E27 lamp makes it effortless to run.
The designer and the story
Filipe Lisboa began in Portugal, moved into lighting and founded Viso in 1999. Globo is one of his shapes, and it shows what the company does well: a familiar form made precisely, with custom canopies and drops available for architects.

Who this is not for
Globo is polycarbonate rather than glass, and Viso notes that the seam is visible on the largest size. It is also not a feature-rich fixture, so it is not for those who want ornament.

What does the light feel like?
Soft and even. The frosted shell hides the lamp, so you see a glowing sphere rather than a bulb.
How do I style a group of Globos?
Use three sizes at staggered heights for a relaxed, organic cluster, or hang identical sizes at the same height for a more formal line.
How do I clean it?
Our advice: let it cool, then wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry it. Viso does not publish care instructions for Globo.
What should I check before ordering?
The diameter and the 117 inch overall drop against your ceiling height, plus the maximum lamp wattage for your size on the spec sheet.
