The Design Story

A thin tube finished in Black or Natural Aged Brass descends into the center of each globe, where a small G4 LED lamp provides the light. ET2 describes the globes as various sizes. The 3-light and 9-light have round canopies, and the 10-light has a long canopy.

How do the 3, 9 and 10-light versions differ?

The 3-light and 9-light fixtures are round, while the 10-light is a long fixture for a linear space. ET2 names the 9-light a chandelier. It is listed with downward lighting and no dimming rating, so check the product details above if dimming matters to you. See the Choose Your Version table for sizes and item numbers.

How long is the cord on the Global, and can I set the hanging height?

Cord length is 118 in, which gives a maximum overall height of 141.75 in (3-Light), 129.5 in (9-Light), 137 in (10-Light). The shortest hang is 29.25 in (3-Light), 55 in (9-Light), 24.75 in (10-Light), so it can work over a low surface as well as in a taller space.

How much light does the Global give?

Delivered output in lumens is 520 (3-Light), 1580 (9-Light), 1700 (10-Light), with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.

Will my dimmer work with it?

ET2 lists the dimming as Triac, ELV or 0-10V (3-Light and 10-Light); not listed for 9-Light. Send us your dimmer model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.

What bulb does the Global take?

3 x G4 LED bulbs included (3-Light), 9 x G4 LED bulbs included (9-Light), 10 x G4 LED bulbs included (10-Light). Bulb choice affects brightness and warmth, so we suggest staying at or below the listed wattage.

Where can I install the Global?

It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with a shower and out of covered patios. Ceiling slope is not listed, so plan for a flat ceiling. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
