Gia, crystal arranged as a circle
Gia Round arranges four-faceted crystals from Asfour around a chrome ring, so the fixture scatters light in every direction. The geometry is contemporary, but the crystal brings the old drama of a chandelier into a restrained frame.
It comes in 24, 36 and 48 inches, with 6, 10 or 12 lamps depending on size.
The designer and the story
Filipe Lisboa began in Portugal, moved into lighting and founded Viso in 1999. Gia, with its sibling Gia Linear, is part of Viso's Origins collection. Related Viso installations include Host on Howard in New York and the Nusr-Et Steakhouse in Las Vegas.

Who this is not for
Gia Round is a bold decorative fixture, so it is not for minimalists seeking an invisible light source. It also uses many small lamps, which suit a considered lighting plan.

Viso describes a dazzling four-faceted Asfour crystal on a chrome plated frame.
What is the light like?
Sparkling and multi-directional. Each G9 lamp passes through faceted crystal, so the fixture throws small reflections across surrounding walls.
What does Gia Round pair with?
Chrome and crystal suit marble, glass, mirror and dark paint. In warmer rooms, pair it with brass hardware and timber.
How do I clean the crystal?
Our advice: let it cool and wipe with a soft lint-free cloth. Viso does not publish care instructions for Gia.
