Fred, a floor lamp that stands on brass legs
Fred rises from two architectural brass legs and a brass base into a high-gloss painted resin body, then curves into a neck topped with a frosted opal glass diffuser. At 54 inches, it reads as a sculpture first and a lamp second.
Hot Vanilla and Midnight Blue give two moods, and the marble and brass details set the tone at the base.
The designer and the story
Fred is part of the Feathers collection by Viso Design Studio, the in-house team at the company Filipe Lisboa founded in 1999. Viso says Fred is poised to make a statement no matter where he goes.
