The Design Story

ET2 describes the Dorian collection as a square block support with two cylinder LED tubes that extend horizontally, and says the tubes rotate individually to position the light. The picture lights are listed with an aluminum and acrylic build and an integrated LED.

Questions We Hear Most

Is the finish rated differently?

Yes. ET2 lists the Black versions as damp rated and the Polished Chrome and Gold versions as dry rated. Dry rated means indoor rooms away from moisture, and damp rated also covers humid or covered spaces away from direct water spray.

How big is the Dorian, and how far does it project?

The height is 4.5 in and widths run from 19 to 30.75 in, depending on the version. Projection from the wall is 8.75 in. The Choose Your Version table above lists each size.

How much light does the Dorian give?

Delivered output in lumens is 575 (18 in), 750 (24 in), 900 (30 in), with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.

Which way can the Dorian be mounted?

ET2 lists the mounting orientation as facing up. The light direction is listed as directional. Confirm the orientation you want against the product details before you rough in the box.

Will my dimmer work with it?

ET2 lists the dimming as Triac or ELV. Send us your dimmer model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.

Can the LED in the Dorian be replaced?

The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source with a rated life of 50,000 hours.

Where can I install the Dorian?

Location rating depends on the finish: the Black versions are rated damp, and the Polished Chrome and Gold versions are rated dry. Dry is for indoor dry rooms only, damp also suits covered or humid spaces away from direct water spray, and wet can take rain. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
