Dancing Glass is a suspension lamp with an irregular, horizontally curved glass structure that conceals its LED source and throws light both up and down, designed in 2025 by Victor Vasilev for Oluce.
It comes in 2 finishes: transparent and smokey grey.
The Design Story
Oluce, founded in Milan in 1945, builds Dancing Glass around a horizontal glass structure whose irregular form conceals its LED source while catching light and shadow across its surface. Individually adjustable reflectors let each spot be aimed on its own, turning a technical detail into part of the lamp’s sculptural presence. Victor Vasilev designed it to look like a suspended sculpture rather than a fixture.
The Designer
Victor Vasilev was born in 1974 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and moved to Israel with his family at age 15. He studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, and started his own Milan-based practice in 2004. He has designed for Boffi, Living Divani, MDF Italia, Antrax IT and Falper, and his work for Oluce includes Dancing Queen and SuperLuna, the latter a 2018 German Design Award winner.
“In Dancing Glass, light is not just illumination, but rhythm, gesture, emotion.”
Victor Vasilev
How It Was Made
Dancing Glass is made in Italy from blown and shaped glass, metal and an integrated LED source, with individually orientable reflectors built into its horizontal structure.

Why You’ll Love It
Dancing Glass turns its glass structure into a play of light and shadow, throwing a soft wash up toward the ceiling while the irregular form below catches reflections of its own light. Its reflectors can be aimed individually, so you can shape the mix of up and down light to the room.
Made for Real Life
The dual integrated LEDs together give 6150 lumens at 2700K with a CRI above 90, and the fixture is dimmable. Wipe the glass and metal with a soft dry cloth and skip abrasive or solvent cleaners.
