Cubie, a block of crystal that behaves like a jewel
Cubie is a single cube of hand-molded crystal, square and faceted by its own geometry, hanging from a chrome canopy. It catches light at every corner and throws a soft pattern on nearby surfaces.
Amber turns it honey-warm, Clear keeps it prismatic, and Smoke gives it a darker, inky weight. A G4 lamp sits inside the block.
The designer and the story
Filipe Lisboa began his career in Portugal, moved into lighting and founded Viso in 1999. Cubie sits in Viso's Origins collection, and Viso builds custom clusters and drops around it for private residences and commercial spaces.

Where it works
Over a bedside table or a bar rail, in a trio at staggered heights, or beside a mirror. A single cube is also a good way to light a landing or a niche.
Who this is not for
One cube is a small, decorative source, not task or room lighting. If you want more presence, choose the multi-light Cubie or a larger crystal fixture.

What is Cubie made of?
Viso describes a hand-molded crystal body with a chrome metal canopy and metal details.
What does the glass do to the light?
The facets scatter the lamp into small points and reflections. Amber warms the output, Clear is the most sparkling, and Smoke softens and darkens it.
How do I group Cubie?
Hang a few at staggered heights for a loose constellation, or space identical drops evenly for a ritual line. Viso also builds custom clusters and drops.
How should I clean the crystal?
Our advice: use a soft, lint-free cloth once the lamp has cooled; Viso does not publish care instructions for Cubie. Avoid harsh cleaners near the chrome.
What should I confirm before ordering?
The glass color and the 106 inch overall drop against your ceiling height. Choose a G4 LED at 2200K to 2700K with 90+ CRI if you do not want halogen.
