The Design Story
ET2 took inspiration from the Olympic cauldron that opens the games. The series is listed in two sizes, and the Black 6 inch version is the one rated for wet locations.
Why You’ll Love It
The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to replace. Output is 600 lumens on the 6 inch and 900 on the 7 inch, both at 3000K with CRI 90, and both are listed for Triac dimming.
Made for Real Life
The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to find or match. Wipe the finish with a soft damp cloth and skip abrasive or solvent cleaners.
Not sure which finish to pick? Finishes explained walks through the options.
Putting It Together
ET2 posts an assembly sheet for each version: 6 in Black (PDF) and 7 in Gold (PDF). ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.

Questions We Hear Most
Which Cauldron versions can go outdoors?
Only the Black 6 inch (E30242-BK) is rated wet. The Gold 7 inch is rated dry, so it is for dry locations and not for exposure to rain. ET2 lists the mounting orientation as down on every version.
How big is the Cauldron, and how far does it project?
Every version is 7 in high and widths are 6 in (6 in Black) and 7 in (7 in Gold). Projection from the wall is 7.75 in (6 in Black), 8.75 in (7 in Gold). The Choose Your Version table above lists each size.
How much light does the Cauldron give?
Delivered output in lumens is 600 (6 in Black), 900 (7 in Gold), with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.
Which way can the Cauldron be mounted?
ET2 lists the mounting orientation as facing down. The light direction is listed as downlight. Confirm the orientation you want against the product details before you rough in the box.
Will my dimmer work with it?
ET2 lists the dimming as Triac. Send us your dimmer model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.
Can the LED in the Cauldron be replaced?
The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source with a rated life of 30,000 hours.
Where can I install the Cauldron?
Location rating depends on the version: 6 in Black is rated wet; 7 in Gold is rated dry. Dry is for indoor dry rooms only, damp also suits covered outdoor spaces, and wet can take rain. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
Why We Love It
It is a compact downlight sconce with a clear sense of shape, in a Black version that is rated for the outdoors.
