Briggs Cluster, geometry gathered into a constellation
The Briggs cluster gathers four or seven of the single lights into a composed group. Opal glass panels in champagne frames hang together like tiles of light, with each panel keeping its clean edge.
The result is a ceiling feature that stays calm: soft, even light and a precise, repeating geometry.
The designer and the story
Briggs was designed by Viso Design Studio, the in-house team at the company Filipe Lisboa founded in 1999. Viso offers it as a single ceiling light, standard 4- and 7-light clusters and custom clusters.

Where it works
Over a dining table, a stair or a long entry. The 7-light version suits a double-height space.
Who this is not for
The cluster is a substantial fixture. It is not for low ceilings or for those who prefer a hidden, flush light.
Questions, answered
How does the cluster differ from the single Briggs?
It combines four or seven lights on one canopy, creating a composed fixture instead of a single ceiling panel.
What is it made of?
Plated metal frames in champagne and frosted white opal glass diffusers.
How does it light a room?
Softly and evenly, with multiple glowing panels creating layered depth overhead.
Where does it look best?
Against a plain ceiling, with enough room around it to appreciate the geometry.
How do I care for it?
Our advice: let it cool and wipe with a soft cloth. Viso does not publish care instructions for Briggs.
What should I check before ordering?
The cluster size, the ceiling height and structure, and the dimension drawing.
For commercial clients: Viso takes large-quantity Briggs orders by inquiry only. Send us your quantities and we will request a quote for your project.
