Bowman 12 is the barn pendant rethought for the outdoors: a cast-aluminum cone, sealed against rain, with a soft LED glow underneath.
The Design Story
Sean Lavin kept the silhouette everyone recognizes, the conical barn shade, and rebuilt it for weather. The shade is die-cast aluminum, the diffuser is UV-stabilized acrylic, the hardware is stainless, and the whole fixture is sealed to IP65.
Instead of a cord, Bowman hangs on rigid stems with a ball joint at the canopy, so it hangs straight from a sloped porch ceiling and does not swing in a breeze.

It gives real light outdoors, 1,320 lumens at a warm 3000K with 90 CRI, and it dims. The Charcoal finish is softer than black and reads well against stone, stucco and wood, and the three stems let you tune the drop from 13 to 34 inches.

The LED is built in and field-serviceable, rated beyond 60,000 hours to L70, so there is nothing to relamp. A rinse and a wipe keep it clean. It runs on any voltage from 120 to 277 and pairs with 0-10V, ELV or TRIAC dimmers.
