Meet the Designer
Designed by
Pablo Studio
Pablo Studio is a tight-knit San Francisco team that picks one idea, refines it and strips it down to its essence. Their goal: objects that feel personal and a little surprising every time you use them.
The Design Story
Bola, Spanish for “ball,” is one of Pablo Designs’ most celebrated collections, developed by Pablo Studio, the small San Francisco team of makers and inventors led by founder Pablo Pardo, a Venezuelan-born industrial designer who started the company in 1993. Every Bola begins with the same elemental idea: a softly glowing opal glass globe, paired with a post, a mirrored disc, a ring or a shade, so the light appears to float.
Why You’ll Love It
A group of mixed sizes on a wall looks like an art installation, and every disc throws soft reflected light back into the room.
Made for Real Life
Hardwired, warm dim, LED covered for five years.
