Berlin-Out Outdoor Wall and Ceiling Lamp by Oluce

Berlin-Out is a round outdoor wall and ceiling lamp, a slim metal ring around a honeycomb-textured acrylic disc, designed in 2025 by Christophe Pillet for Oluce.

It comes in 3 sizes (5.1, 9.8 and 13.8 in) and 3 finishes: matt aluminium, matt black and anodic bronze.

The Design Story

Oluce, founded in Milan in 1945, created Berlin-Out to bring the elegance of indoor lighting to outdoor spaces. This version is a quiet round sconce: a slim metal ring frames a textured acrylic disc that spreads a warm, even glow across a wall or a ceiling. It is the outdoor relative of the Berlin family of rings and discs.

The Story

Oluce describes the Berlin sconce as a refined interplay of light and form, with an acrylic disc engineered to withstand humidity and meet the technical demands of wet environments. Besides this wall and ceiling lamp, the Berlin-Out collection includes a table lamp, a floor lamp and an arched floor lamp.

How It Was Made

Berlin-Out is made in Italy in aluminium with a PMMA diffuser. The ring comes in matt aluminium, matt black or anodic bronze, and the disc is textured like a honeycomb to soften the light.

Why You’ll Love It

A flush round lamp rated IP65 lets you use the same clean look outside and in. The Small works as a porch or step light, the Medium as an entry or hallway light, and the Large as a statement light over a door or in a bathroom.

Made for Real Life

The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to change, and the lamp is rated IP65, so it is protected against dust and water jets. It is not dimmable. Wipe the metal and the acrylic with a soft damp cloth and skip abrasive or solvent cleaners.
