Artes Floor Lamp by CTO Lighting

Artes Floor is a slim column of honed alabaster on a round base, in bronze or satin brass, made by CTO Lighting of London. It stands 48 in high and is 11.8 in wide.

It comes in 4 finishes: Antique Bronze, Bronze, Bronze with Satin Brass Details and Satin Brass, each with honed alabaster.

The Design Story

Artes is CTO's architectural beam of light. A slim bar of bronze or satin brass holds a honed alabaster diffuser, and CTO says it can hang alone or as a group.

On the floor, the beam stands upright as a tall, glowing column.

The Story of CTO Lighting

Chris and Clare Turner founded CTO Lighting in London in 1998 on one principle: design lights of uncompromising quality, using only the finest materials and working with elite British craftsmen. Chris is an engineer who designs and builds with meticulous detail, and Clare brings the eye of fashion. Together they built a name for understated luxury in hand-finished brass, mouth-blown glass and artisan-cut stone, and the collection has gone on to light The Savoy, The Dorchester, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and Chiltern Firehouse.

How It Was Made

CTO assembles every Artes light to order in England. A slim bar in antique bronze, bronze or satin brass holds a diffuser of honed alabaster, and the integrated LED lights the stone.

The Finishes

Antique Bronze. Rich, deep tones with a natural patina. Each fixture shows the character of the material and the hand of the British artisans who finish it.

Bronze. Deep, rich color and a robust build bring a touch of historical weight to a modern room, with a warm, inviting glow.

Satin Brass. Warm golden tones and a brushed, satin surface give a soft sheen that feels luxurious but understated. CTO selects the metal for its durability and beauty.

Satin Brass Details. Satin brass detailing contrasts with the bronzed metalwork and adds a warm, golden accent.

Honed Alabaster. Every piece is cut from natural stone, prized for its soft, diffused light. The veining occurs naturally, so no two are alike, from almost white to grey-veined.

Why You’ll Love It

Artes Floor stands in a corner or beside a sofa as a slim, tall glow. The alabaster gives a soft, even light, and the inline dimmer on the cord lets you turn it down.

Made for Real Life

The 110-130V version has an integrated 32W LED at 2700K, dimmable with an inline dimmer on the 98.4 in (2500 mm) black cord, which ends in a US plug. It weighs 22 lb and is IP20 for dry indoor rooms.
