The Design Story
Part of the No. series Tom Rossau started in 2022 with No.111, the table lamp shares its flat-pack approach and round-ended birch strips. The studio began with an experiment: Tom Rossau pressed thin strips of wood into a cylinder to see how they would bend, and the harder he pressed, the more expressive the shape became. That experiment became the TR5 in 2005, and every lamp since has followed the same idea of flat material coaxed into sculpture, built by hand in Copenhagen.
