The Design Story
Penta describes Woody as a minimal, contemporary shape paired with the decorative opulence of Carrara marble, and says minimalism has never been so luxurious. Its guiding idea is “the value of simplicity”: one clean bar of oak or marble with the light built in. It is made by hand in Brianza, Italy.
The Designer
Umberto Asnago has given his working life to design and planning. After holding important positions at Giorgetti, he committed himself fully to design in 2006 and became one of Penta’s historic names. With his long experience and refined creative toolbox, he has created many of the iconic collections in the Penta catalog.

Why You’ll Love It

Made for Real Life
The LED is built in: 14W and 837 lumens on the Small, 29W and 1750 lumens on the Large, in 3000K or 2700K. It is dimmable on a 0-10V circuit, and Penta’s 110V dimming installation sheet is linked above. Marble and oak are heavy materials, from about 17.6 lb for the Small in oak to 26.5 lb for the Large in marble, so please plan the ceiling fixing accordingly.
