Spoon Floor Lamp by Penta

Spoon is an adjustable LED reading lamp with a hand-woven leather detail, designed in 2017 for Penta by Umberto Asnago. This is the floor version.

It comes in 3 finishes: black leather or cognac leather on a matt black metal structure, or grey metal.

The Design Story

Penta says Spoon in its floor version is perfect for creating elegant and refined corners, thanks to its focused light, and that its compact design suits smaller spaces. A slim metal stem and shade can be adjusted to aim the light, and the hand-woven leather adds a crafted, tactile note. It is made by hand in Brianza, Italy.

The Designer

Umberto Asnago has given his working life to design and planning. After holding important positions at Giorgetti, he committed himself fully to design in 2006 and became one of Penta’s historic names. With his long experience and refined creative toolbox, he has created many of the iconic collections in the Penta catalog.

Penta designs and builds its lamps by hand in Brianza, Italy, and backs them with a 2-year manufacturer guarantee from the Auralis Group. Spoon’s structure is metal, in matt black or grey, and the leather is woven by hand in black or cognac and offered with the matt black structure only. The light source is an integrated LED.
