Pablo Studio is a small group of makers and inventors with diverse backgrounds in industrial design and craft, and a deep understanding of manufacturing, materials and technology. The team approaches each project by isolating a concept, refining it and reducing it to its central principle. Experimentation and meticulous attention to detail shape the studio’s work.
The Design Story
Pablo Designs has made lighting in San Francisco since 1993 to be sparse, beautiful and genuinely useful. Carousel, from the Pablo Studio, blurs the line between ambiance and utility: a low wireless-charging tray sits above a discreetly concealed LED module, suspended over a transparent fluted acrylic cylinder that throws mesmerizing patterns of light onto the surface below. It is part lamp, part catch-all, part charging station, and entirely sculptural.
Why You’ll Love It
It is the most discreet member of the family: low enough to tuck beside a monitor or under a shelf, yet still a tray, a charger and a lamp. The ripples of light it throws are a small daily delight.
Made for Real Life
Phones charge wirelessly on two Qi zones with indicator lights, and the USB-C port adds wired charging. Touch the tray to dim through three warm levels. Dust the acrylic with microfiber.

Does the Small have the same charging as the Large
Yes: two Qi wireless zones and a USB-C port. It does not charge an Apple Watch.
Which tray size suits a nightstand
The 12 in (30 cm) tray fits most nightstands; choose 16 in (40.6 cm) if you like to set down a book as well.
How warm is Carousel’s light
It is dim-to-warm, glowing from 2700K toward 2200K as you step down through three levels.
Who is it not for
Anyone who wants bright task or reading light: it gives 425 lm as a soft glow. Pablo lists no damp or wet rating, so keep it indoors.
