The Design Story
Pablo Designs was founded in San Francisco in 1993. Luci comes from the Pablo Studio and distills a simple idea into one object: a solid machined-aluminum column with a disc of light on top that you can carry anywhere. Pablo describes it as a fully rechargeable portable luminaire for indoors and out.
Why You’ll Love It
It brings the intimacy of candlelight without the wax: as you dim it, the light warms from 2700K to 2200K. The solid aluminum body feels substantial in the hand, the flat-panel LED is soft, and IP54 protection suits a summer dinner outside. Battery life runs 18 to 180 hours per charge, depending on the level you choose.
Made for Real Life
It charges through a USB-C port in the base. Three preset levels and full-range dimming live under one optical touch switch on top of the shade. Wipe it with a soft cloth and keep it out of standing water.

Where It Shines
Down the middle of a dinner table, on a bedside, along a bar or a restaurant banquette, on a garden table at dusk, or on a bathroom shelf. Pair it with the Luci Floor or buy the Luci Table 3-Pack for a long table. Who it is not for: anyone who wants a hardwired, always-on fixture or a lamp for fully wet locations, since IP54 covers dust and splashing water only.
Questions We Hear Most
How long will Luci glow between charges?
Pablo lists 18 to 180 hours depending on level: the lowest setting lasts longest and full brightness the least.
Is Luci’s light like candlelight?
It is dim-to-warm: the color temperature moves from 2700K down to 2200K as you dim, a warm amber glow.
Can Luci live on a patio table?
Yes, it is IP54 rated for dust and splashing water. It is not meant to be submerged or left in standing water.
How do I charge it?
Through the USB-C port on the base, using the 6 ft cord that comes with it.
Which finish fits my style?
Brass for warm, classic rooms; Satin Aluminum for crisp modern spaces; Black for moody evening settings; Matte White for light, airy interiors.
Who is Luci Table not for?
If you need a hardwired fixture, a task lamp with strong output (it is 135 lumens), or a lamp for a fully wet location, choose a different light.
