Meet the Designer
Designed by
Pablo Pardo with the Pablo Studio
Raised among artists and engineers in Venezuela, Pablo Pardo builds lights that are sparse, useful and quietly clever. He opened his San Francisco studio in 1993 and still leads it; his work has collected honors from ICFF, NeoCon, Interior Design, Red Dot and the German Design Award, and a piece of his sits in the SFMOMA collection. The Pablo Studio, the brand’s in-house team in San Francisco, engineered and refined it.
As featured in Azure (2022).
The Design Story
Pablo Pardo founded Pablo Designs in San Francisco in 1993 on the belief that the right light can transform any environment. Luci comes from the Pablo Studio, the company’s small team of makers and inventors, and it distills that belief into one object: a solid machined-aluminum column with a disc of light on top that you can carry anywhere. Pablo calls it the future of illumination, a portable lamp with the tactile quality of jewelry and the dim-to-warm glow of candlelight.
Why You’ll Love It
It changes how you can light a room. Put it beside the sofa in the middle of the floor, take it out to the terrace for dinner, or line a hotel corridor without a single cable. The light warms as it dims, and the solid aluminum feels as refined as it looks.
Made for Real Life
One touch on top of the shade steps through three presets or dims smoothly. A full charge takes about five hours and lasts up to 110. It is IP54 with the charge-port plug closed, so it can spend summer evenings outside.

Next to an outdoor lounge set, beside a reading chair placed away from the wall, in a hotel lobby or restaurant dining room, or flanking a bed. Match it with the Luci Table or choose the Luci Floor 2-Pack for a symmetrical pair.
Questions We Hear Most
Why choose a cordless floor lamp?
Because the best place for a lamp is rarely next to an outlet. Luci Floor can stand in the middle of a room, by a window or on a terrace without a cable crossing the floor.
How warm is Luci Floor’s light?
It starts at 2700K and warms to 2200K as you dim, a soft amber that feels like candlelight.
Will Luci Floor last through a long party?
Easily: up to 110 hours at low level and hours more than any evening at higher settings.
Can Luci Floor go outside?
Yes, it is IP54 rated with its charge-port plug closed, ideal for covered patios and terraces.
Which finish should I pick for Luci Floor?
Brass warms a classic room, Satin Aluminum suits modern spaces, Black disappears at night, and Matte White keeps things light.
Can I pair Luci Floor with the table version?
Yes, the Luci Table shares its shade, finishes and light, so they look like a family.
