At 19.7 inches, the small Bride brings Mammalampa’s braided paper to bedrooms, nooks and smaller tables.
The Design Story
Designer Ieva Kalēja has said The Bride first appeared to her in a dream, and she worked with the paper until the braided form seemed to float when lit. Small or large, every Bride is braided by hand in Latvia, so the pattern of each one is its own.
Ieva Kalēja, the Riga designer behind Mammalampa, was named by Elle Decor in 2020 among the ten most talented women designers in the world, as reported by FOLD magazine, and in 2026 she leads the product-design jury of Latvia’s National Design Award.

For a table for two to four it is lovely; for larger tables choose the medium or large Bride, or hang two small ones.

Slightly. The braid is made by hand, so every shade has its own pattern.
