AvroKO built Alo around fluted glass, the reeded texture of classic hotel bars.
The X-Large linear version stretches it over a long table.

Made for Real Life
Nothing to relamp: the light source is built in. Polish the glass now and then with a soft microfiber cloth. The brass is a living finish that deepens with age. A soft, dry cloth keeps the metalwork clean. It mounts on rigid stems, so you can set the drop precisely. Pair it with an LED-compatible ELV, TRIAC or 0-10V dimmer to go from bright to candle-soft.

A linear piece looks right when it is shorter than the table it lights. For the Alo X-Large:

What is the idea behind the Alo X-Large?
AvroKO designed it so that it runs fluted glass the length of the table, hotel-bar glamour at home. It belongs to Visual Comfort's Alo family.
Which Alo X-Large finish works with my palette?
Our take: brass brings warmth to wood and earthy tones.
Can the Alo X-Large be the only light in the room?
In a smaller room, yes: it gives 2,442 lumens at 90 CRI. In a larger space, layer it with lamps or recessed lights.
How long should my table be for the Alo X-Large?
Choose a table of about 76″ or longer so the 64.2″ fixture sits comfortably inside the ends.
Will the Alo X-Large work outside under a roof?
Yes. Visual Comfort rates it for damp interiors and outdoor spaces under cover, so a loggia or covered patio is fine; keep it out of direct rain.
Will I ever change a bulb in the Alo X-Large?
There are no bulbs. The light comes from built-in LED modules with a 50,000-hour L70 rating, fitted at the factory.
How is the Alo X-Large hung?
It is rod (stem) mounted; in the box: (8) 12" and (4) 6" rigid stems. Sloped ceilings up to 20°. A licensed electrician should install it.
How soon can the Alo X-Large arrive?
It is on backorder right now (expected around November 19, 2026); order now and it ships when Visual Comfort restocks.
