Telstar is an angular pendant of translucent acrylic panels in slim metal frames, set at angles around a central column. The panels are dotted to guide the light from indirect LED strips built into the body, which ET2 calls airy and voluminous.
It comes in 3 versions: 26 in Wide, Large and Medium. Finishes: Black and Natural Aged Brass. Glass: Patterned Acrylic.
The Design Story
The acrylic panels are dotted so that they carry the glow from the LED strips across their face instead of showing a point of light. ET2's description also mentions a recessed LED GU10 light at the bottom of the fixture for additional functional light. Telstar is available here in Black, and the 26 in Wide version also comes in Natural Aged Brass.
Why You’ll Love It
Telstar comes in three sizes: Medium (18 in square and 24 in tall), Large (22 in square and 30 in tall) and 26 in Wide (26 in square and 18 in tall). The Medium and Large are taller than they are wide, which suits a stair or double-height space, and the 26 in Wide is a lower, broader form for over a table. Light output runs from 1,880 to 2,450 lumens at 3000K with 90 CRI. Dimming is ELV or Triac.
Made for Real Life
The main LED strips are built in, so there is no bulb to find or match for them. We suggest a dry microfiber cloth for the finish and no spray cleaners.

Which Telstar size and finish should I choose?
Medium (18 x 18 x 24 in) and Large (22 x 22 x 30 in) are taller forms offered in Black. The 26 in Wide (26 x 26 x 18 in) is a lower, broader form offered in Black and Natural Aged Brass.
How long is the cord on the Telstar, and can I set the hanging height?
Cord length is 120 in, which gives a maximum overall height of 61 in (26 in Wide), 73 in (Large), 67 in (Medium). The shortest hang is 25.5 in (26 in Wide), 37.5 in (Large), 31.5 in (Medium), so it can work over a low surface as well as in a taller space.
How much light does the Telstar give?
Delivered output is 1880 (26 in Wide), 2450 (Large), 1960 (Medium) lumens, with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.
Will my dimmer work with it?
ET2 lists the dimming as ELV or Triac. Send us your dimmer model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.
Can the LED in the Telstar be replaced?
The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source with a rated life of 50,000 hours.
Where can I install the Telstar?
It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with a shower and out of covered patios. The canopy suits sloped ceilings up to 15 degrees. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
