Quasar is a linear LED pendant of stainless steel and light guided acrylic in an elongated rhombus shape. It comes in 35.5 and 51 inch lengths.

It comes in 2 versions: 35.5 in and 51 in. The finish is Polished Chrome. Glass: Patterned Acrylic.

The Design Story

Stainless steel and light guided acrylic form an elongated rhombus that is discreetly lit by LED. The finish is Polished Chrome. An aircraft cable kit is provided on the larger size so it can hang vertically or horizontally at various angles.

Questions We Hear Most

Can it hang at an angle?

The larger 51 inch version includes an aircraft cable kit so it can be mounted vertically or horizontally at various angles. The Product Details list each length's lumens and dimming.

How low does the Quasar hang, and can I set the height?

The 35.5 in version is 5.25 in tall and the 51 in version is 7.75 in tall. ET2 lists a maximum overall height of 122.25 in (35.5 in) and 123.5 in (51 in) counting the fixture, canopy and the cord or wire, with 118 in of cord or wire supplied. The shortest hang is 7.75 in and 10.25 in. The overall height is set at install, so measure from the ceiling to where you want the fixture to sit.

How much light does the Quasar give?

Delivered output in lumens is 700 (35.5 in), 840 (51 in), with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.

Will my dimmer work with it?

ET2 lists the dimming as Triac, ELV or 0-10V. Send us your dimmer model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.

Can the LED in the Quasar be replaced?

The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source with a rated life of 50,000 hours.

Where can I install the Quasar?

It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with a shower and out of covered patios. Ceiling slope is not listed, so plan for a flat ceiling. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
