The Design Story

ET2 describes Quad as cubist art reimagined through lighting: suspended aluminum squares in a warm Bronze finish, in multiple tiers, lit by high-powered dimmable LEDs housed in the frame. Adjustable connectors give the collection flexibility in configuration, and the hanging squares act as kinetic sculptures that add movement to a room.

Why You’ll Love It

This is a feature piece. At about 27.75 inches square it covers a good amount of ceiling and fills an open or high space with layered geometry. Bronze is warm and dark, so the squares read as an outline in daytime and as lit frames at night. The LED is dimmable (Triac) so the glow can come down in the evening.

Made for Real Life

The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to find or match. We suggest a dry microfiber cloth for the finish and no spray cleaners.

Can the Quad tiers be arranged differently?

ET2 notes that the collection has adjustable connectors that allow multiple configurations. Ask us before ordering if you need a specific arrangement.

How long is the cord on the Quad, and can I set the hanging height?

Cord length is 118 in, which gives a maximum overall height of 120 in. The shortest hang is 20.5 in, so it can work over a low surface as well as in a taller space.

How much light does the Quad give?

Delivered output is 7000 lumens, with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 80+.

Will my dimmer work with it?

ET2 lists the dimming as Triac. Send us your dimmer model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.

Can the LED in the Quad be replaced?

The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source with a rated life of 25,000 hours.

Where can I install the Quad?

It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with a shower and out of covered patios. Ceiling slope is not listed, so plan for a flat ceiling. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
