Nob is a small cylindrical pendant with a plated gold housing, a round black handle on top and a clear acrylic diffuser on the bottom. It measures 4 in across and 7.5 in tall.

The finish is Black / Gold. Glass: Clear Acrylic.

The Design Story

ET2 designed the Nob family to be arranged at various heights, so the housings form a sculptural group that still works as light. The gold housing is a shaped metal body, the black handle is the knob that gives the family its name, and the clear acrylic at the bottom is where the light comes out.

At 450 lumens it is a small task and accent light, and the 120 in cord lets you set each one at its own drop. The black handle against the gold body gives a two-tone look that pairs with black hardware or warm metals. It dims on Triac dimmers.

The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to find or match. We suggest a dry microfiber cloth for the finish and no spray cleaners.

Where does the light come out of the Nob?

Light comes from the clear acrylic diffuser on the bottom of the housing. It delivers 450 lumens at 3000K from an integrated LED.

How long is the cord on the Nob, and can I set the hanging height?

Cord length is 120 in, which gives a maximum overall height of 129 in. The shortest hang is 10 in, so it can work over a low surface as well as in a taller space.

How much light does the Nob give?

Delivered output is 450 lumens, with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 80+.

Will my dimmer work with it?

ET2 lists the dimming as Triac. Send us your dimmer model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.

Can the LED in the Nob be replaced?

The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source with a rated life of 30,000 hours.

Where can I install the Nob?

It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with a shower and out of covered patios. Ceiling slope is not confirmed, so plan for a flat ceiling. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
