Abyss is a mini cone pendant in Black or Matte White. It is lit along the bottom perimeter, so the inside of the cone stays dark.

The Design Story
The cone looks like a classic pendant from the outside. Seen from below, the perimeter light leaves a dark center that gives the fixture a different look. The shade is aluminum and stainless steel with an integrated LED.

What is the difference between the two versions?
The two versions are identical in size, light output and electrical specs. Only the finish differs: Black or Matte White.
How low does the Abyss hang, and can I set the height?
The fixture body is 7.25 in tall. ET2 lists a maximum overall height of 128 in counting the fixture, canopy and the cord or wire, with 120 in of cord or wire supplied. The shortest hang is 11 in. The overall height is set at install, so measure from the ceiling to where you want the fixture to sit.
How much light does the Abyss give?
Delivered output is 940 lumens, with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 80+.
Will my dimmer work with it?
ET2 lists the dimming as ELV. Send us your dimmer model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.
Can the LED in the Abyss be replaced?
The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source with a rated life of 50,000 hours.
Where can I install the Abyss?
It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with a shower and out of covered patios. The canopy suits sloped ceilings up to 90 degrees. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
