The Design Story
Thöming set the steel tube into the stone base and let it run through, a structural detail that becomes the look of the whole piece. Thöming, an industrial designer at Germany’s Flöz Design, let the steel tube run straight into the stone base, so metal and stone read as one sculpted foot.
Cool stainless steel or black steel against dark cast stone: MENOTO is a study in contrast, built to stand anywhere without touching the wall.

Clean with a damp cloth; do not soak, and avoid abrasive or acidic cleaners, because the PolyStone base is sensitive to acid. Made for indoor use.
