The Design Story

Thöming hid the brush in a steel container that looks sealed, yet is vented through the lid so the brush can dry. Thöming, an industrial designer at Germany’s Flöz Design, let the steel tube run straight into the stone base, so metal and stone read as one sculpted foot.

Cool stainless steel or black steel against dark cast stone: MENOTO is a study in contrast, built to stand anywhere without touching the wall.
