KUA Column Toilet Brush by Anton Björsing for blomus

KUA Column Toilet Brush by Anton Björsing for blomus — A fluted toilet brush and holder, 15.5 inches tall, in recycled polyresin that matches the KUA basin set.

Part of KUA, Anton Björsing’s column-inspired bath collection for the German design house blomus.

The Design Story

Björsing gave the toilet brush the same column profile as the soap pump, so even this piece belongs to the set. Björsing, a Swedish cabinetmaker turned designer, borrowed the fluted shaft of a classical column and scaled it down into soft, matte bath pieces.

Architecture in miniature: KUA turns the fluted column into soft, matte pieces in Moonbeam cream, Micro Chip gray, Magnet charcoal and a warm Cedar Wood.

Why You’ll Love It

Finally, a toilet brush that matches the soap dispenser.

Made for Real Life

Rinse the brush and wipe the holder with a soft damp cloth; dry the outside to avoid water spots and skip abrasive or chemical cleaners. KUA is made from colored recycled polyresin, a blend of plastic and ground stone that gives each piece its weight and solid, stone-like feel. Pairs well with the KUA step can, KUA soap pump and KUA vanity pair.

Why We Love It

KUA brings a touch of classical architecture to the basin in a material with real heft, and it is partly made from recycled material. From a small town in Germany’s old steel region, the Blome family has gone from bicycle parts (1921) to metal gifts (1961) to the design label blomus (2000), still family-run in its fourth generation. LoftModern is an authorized blomus retailer.
