Seat frame and base finishes

With the Zebra Pyramid-MW Swivel Counter or Bar Stool, sohoConcept and sohoConcept in-house design team set out to make an everyday stool feel tailored: a wire seat on steel legs. The construction is contract grade, so it is as suited to a busy restaurant as to a dining room.

The Design Story

Since 2000, sohoConcept has worked from one idea: strip a piece back to what matters, then build it to last. That clean-lined language is equally at home in a residence or a hotel; the studio's furniture has been specified for W Hotels New York, Aloft Brooklyn and the Delta Hotels in Toronto.

The base is swivel steel pyramid legs in walnut veneer or natural veneer with chrome footrest, or black with brass footrest. Each one is made in Türkiye. The Zebra Pyramid-MW Swivel Counter or Bar Stool comes from sohoConcept's in-house design team and is built to the same contract standard as the rest of the collection.

Where It's Best Placed

Living With It

Clean leather-look and leather seats with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a little mild soap, then dry them. Vacuum woven fabrics with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away; never rub. Keep wood away from direct heat and sun, and dust it with a dry cloth. Wipe metal with a dry microfiber cloth; skip scouring pads.
