Seat upholstery. Each option pairs a wire seat frame (black powder coat, chrome, brass or polished gold) with a removable seat and back pad. Every pad fits every frame; pad swatches are shown once. PPM-FR is a flame-retardant polyurethane performance faux leather. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.
Seat frame and base finishes
The Zebra Piston Stool by sohoConcept in-house design team is sohoConcept's take on the stool as a crafted object: an adjustable wire seat with full footrest. Behind the quiet lines is contract-grade construction meant for years of daily use.
The Design Story
sohoConcept was founded in 2000 around a short brief: design down to the essentials, and let long-term durability and quality show through a clean-lined form language. The same pieces are made for homes and for contract interiors, and the studio's work has furnished W Hotels and the Paramount Hotel in New York, The Atlantis in the Bahamas and the CN Tower in Toronto.
The base is gas-lift swivel piston, polished stainless steel, brushed stainless steel or black. Each one is made in Türkiye. The Zebra Piston Stool comes from sohoConcept's in-house design team and is built to the same contract standard as the rest of the collection.
