Wick S takes the glow of Graypants' Wick and gives it a shorter, sturdier stance, which makes it a natural for places where a tall lamp would feel too much: a bookshelf, a side table, a window sill, the edge of a desk. It is cordless and rechargeable, with a warm, dimmable 2600K light.

The Design Story
Wick S is the follow-up to Graypants' award-winning Wick. It keeps the same design language and features as the original but sits lower, so it reads more like a pebble of light than a candle. The Wick family was drawn from the old chamberstick candle holder, and was designed by Seth Grizzle, Arno Ruijzenaars and Erwin Termaat across Graypants' Amsterdam and Seattle studios.
Wick is designed with the belief that light is meant to be shared.
The studio behind it was founded in Seattle by architects Seth Grizzle and Jonathan Junker, and works today from Seattle and Amsterdam. The original Wick earned a win in The Competition and a Best of Year Awards finalist place in the product category.
A Smaller Footprint, Same Glow
Wick S shares its diameter, battery type and light with the full-height Wick, but stands only 6.5 in (16.5 cm) tall. That lower center of gravity suits shelves and low tables, and it layers well with taller Wicks: Graypants' own photos show S and Classic side by side in matching and mixed finishes.
Like its taller sibling, it has a carrying ring at the top, charges over USB-C, and is dimmable by touch. The body is plated aluminum and acrylic.
Easy to Place Anywhere
Use one beside a book on the nightstand, three in a row on a mantel, or one on each side of a bathroom vanity. Move it from room to room as the evening goes on. Because it is rated IP20, keep it to indoor and sheltered dry spots.

How tall is Wick S compared with Wick?
Wick S is 6.5 in (16.5 cm) tall and 4.7 in (12 cm) in diameter. The full-size Wick Classic is 10.2 in (26 cm) tall with the same diameter.
Can I mix Wick S and Wick Classic?
Yes. They share the same design language, finishes and 2600K light, and Graypants' own photos show the two sizes grouped together.
Is the light dimmable?
Yes. The LED is dimmable with a touch control, so you can set the glow low for dining or higher when you need a little more light.
What does the USB-C charging involve?
The battery is rechargeable lithium-ion and charges over USB-C, so any standard USB-C charger and cable will do. There is no bulb to replace because the LED is integrated.
Which finish is the most popular choice?
Brass and Graphite are the classic pair, while Mist Gray and Sage Green are the soft, colored options. Black suits dark or modern rooms and Aluminum is the cool, bright metal.
Will it work with the Wick PRO remote or charging trays?
No. Those accessories are made for Wick PRO and Wick S PRO. Wick S charges with its own USB-C cable.
