The Trace 72 Single Linear Chandelier by Peter Bristol is a modern LED linear chandelier. A single row of etched glass cylinders hangs from a slim metal rod, 72 inches long, on fine suspension cables. It comes in Nightshade Black or Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass.
The Design Story
Peter Bristol's Trace series strips lighting back to essential forms, where gravity and assembly define the structure. Cylindrical etched glass shades hang from precise metal rods, so the way the fixture is built is also the way it looks. Nothing is hidden or decorated, and the result is a clean, architectural line of light.
Why You'll Love It
Trace 72 Single is the longest in the family: one row of etched glass cylinders under a 72 inch rod, 7.9 inches tall and 7.9 inches deep, on 192 inches of cord. It gives 1064 lumens at 2700K and 90 CRI on 17.2 watts, with dimming on 0-10V, ELV and TRIAC dimmers.
Rated for Damp Locations
Trace 72 Single Linear Chandelier is ETL listed, and Visual Comfort rates it for indoor damp locations and outdoor spaces under cover, such as a covered porch. The shades are etched glass, the LED is dedicated with a 5-year warranty.

Where It Shines
Over an oversized dining table, a long kitchen island, a banquette, or a restaurant or office where scale and clarity matter.
Who This Is Not For
Trace 72 Single is 72 inches long and weighs 31 pounds, so it needs a big table or island under it and a ceiling that can carry the load. It is a single clean line and not a statement of ornament, so it will not suit a room that wants a decorative, layered look.
Questions We Hear Most
How big is the Trace 72 Single Linear Chandelier?
The rod is 72 inches long, and the fixture is 7.9 inches tall and 7.9 inches deep. It hangs on 192 inches of cord with a minimum height of 9.1 inches, and it weighs 31 pounds.
How is it hung?
It hangs on two fine cables, 192 inches of cord in all, from the ceiling. Your installer cuts the cord to the height you want, and the minimum height is 9.1 inches.
What light source does it use?
It has a dedicated LED that gives 1064 delivered lumens at 2700K and 90 CRI on 17.2 watts. Visual Comfort rates the LED to L70 over 50,000 hours, so there are no bulbs to change.
How do I dim it?
It dims with most LED compatible 0-10V, ELV and TRIAC dimmers, and it runs on universal 120V to 277V.
Can it go on a sloped ceiling?
Yes. Visual Comfort lists it for sloped ceilings up to 45 degrees. It weighs 31 lbs, so have an electrician confirm that the ceiling can carry the load.
Which finish should I choose?
Nightshade Black draws a dark, graphic line over the table and suits most modern rooms. Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass is warmer and softer, with an aged look that suits wood, plaster and stone.
Why We Love It
Trace 72 Single is one long, quiet line of glass over the table, held up by a rod and two thin cables.
