It comes in 17.75 in (45.1 cm) wide by 13 in (33 cm) high, extending 6.25 in (15.9 cm) from the wall; 18.5 in (47 cm) wide by 10.5 in (26.7 cm) high, extending 9.5 in (24.1 cm) from the wall. Beside a door, a fixture about one quarter to one third the height of the door looks in scale; go larger when it is seen from the street.

It comes in Black, Tawny Bronze or White. Not every combination is made in every size; the options above show only the versions Maxim produces.

Which bulbs does it use, and can I dim it?

Each socket takes an E26 Medium bulb up to 150W. It is dimmable with dimmable bulbs. A warm 2700K LED bulb gives a soft, welcoming glow. Bulbs are not included.

How high should I mount it?

Beside a door, outdoor wall lights usually go with the center of the fixture about 66 in from the threshold, or a little above eye level, one on each side of the door or one on the latch side. It extends 6.25 in (15.9 cm) (17.75 x 13 in); 9.5 in (24.1 cm) (18.5 x 10.5 in) from the wall. Mounts facing down.

Can it handle rain and weather?

It is damp rated, so it belongs in covered outdoor spots, like a porch, a covered patio or under eaves, where rain does not hit it directly.
