The Design Story
Jordi Miralbell and Mariona Raventós, a leading Barcelona design couple and long-time partners at Santa & Cole, designed Dórica in 1994. They loved natural materials like parchment, raffia and cotton. The slim stem and sturdy base recall the columns of classical Greek architecture, a symbol of stability, and a stitched leather grip at the top adds a crafted touch.

The natural ribbon shade, made by hand, filters three bulbs into a warm, textured glow. A foot dimmer is included, so you can bring the light down for the evening without bending to the switch. The included stabilizing disc keeps the tall, slim lamp steady. It is an object you will want to touch as much as switch on.
Made for Real Life
It takes three E26 bulbs, sold separately (maximum bulb height 5.1 inches; use dimmable bulbs with the dimmer). The cord is 88.6 inches long. UL-153 listed for dry, indoor locations. Wipe with a soft, smooth cloth; skip ammonia, solvents and abrasive cleaners (Santa & Cole’s care advice).
