Portsmouth is an outdoor flush mount from Maxim Lighting. It measures 8 in (20.3 cm) wide and stands 8 in (20.3 cm) high. Seedy glass is paired with a Oil Rubbed Bronze finish.
The Design Story
Portsmouth is a traditional, Early American lantern collection in Oil Rubbed Bronze aluminum with seedy glass. The range includes wall, ceiling, hanging and post forms, so a front door, porch ceiling and driveway post can all match. The seedy glass diffuses the light warmly, and damp and wet ratings make it equally good under a roof or in the open.
Why You’ll Love It
It takes E26 Medium bulbs up to 60W per socket, which makes it easy to choose your own color temperature and brightness. Materials: aluminum, glass.

Putting It Together
Maxim posts an assembly sheet (PDF) for this fixture. Outdoor fixtures need a weatherproof junction box and a GFCI-protected circuit, so we recommend a qualified electrician for the install.

On a porch, entry or carport ceiling, under a covered patio or in a breezeway. A ceiling mount sits close to the ceiling, so it suits low porch ceilings and lights the whole space below without hanging in the way.
Questions We Hear Most
How big is the Portsmouth outdoor flush mount?
It measures 8 in (20.3 cm) wide with a fixture height of 8 in (20.3 cm).
Which bulbs does it use, and can I dim it?
