The Design Story
Outdoor lighting rarely gets handcrafted glass. A wide, softly rounded glass with fine ribs, in glowing Opal Ribbed or in Glitter, where a crystal coating on the inside glass makes the light shimmer. The cord is the easy way to hang it: 10 feet of black-jacketed cord that you cut to your drop. Besa’s signature is the glass. American designers work with European craftsmen, every shade is made by hand, and each one is inspected in Ohio before it leaves the factory, so the small variations you see are the mark of a handmade piece, not a flaw.
