Padrona is a chandelier from Maxim Lighting. It comes in 2 sizes: 6-Light, 32.5 in and 8-Light, 48.5 in. It is finished in Black Oxide.
The Design Story
Thin arms outstretch and curve in a classic forged iron chandelier, with a wild turn at the center stem that ends in a charming hook where the usual top loop would be. The Black Oxide finish emphasizes the ironwork, combining Spanish Revival and French Country influences. Padrona spans boldly in diameter, so it fills large dining rooms and great rooms with a calligraphic tangle of dark metal and candle light.
Why You’ll Love It
It takes E12 Candelabra bulbs up to 60W per socket, which makes it easy to choose your own color temperature and brightness. Materials: iron.

Putting It Together
Maxim posts an assembly sheet for each size: 6-Light, 32.5 in (PDF) and 8-Light, 48.5 in (PDF). We recommend a qualified electrician for the install.

Where It Shines
Centered over a dining table, in an entry or stairwell, or as the anchor of a living room or primary bedroom. As a rule of thumb, leave about 30 to 36 in between the bottom of the fixture and the tabletop, and choose a width roughly half to two-thirds of the table's.
Questions We Hear Most
What sizes does the Padrona chandelier come in?
It comes in 6-Light, 32.5 in (32.5 in (82.5 cm) wide, 27.5 in high) and 8-Light, 48.5 in (48.5 in (123.2 cm) wide, 27.75 in high). Pick the size by the surface or room it hangs over: wider tables and taller rooms take the larger size.
Which bulbs does it use, and can I dim it?
Each socket takes an E12 Candelabra bulb up to 60W. A warm 2700K LED bulb gives a soft, welcoming glow. Bulbs are not included.
How far does it hang from the ceiling?
The 6-Light, 32.5 in hangs to a maximum overall height of 70.5 in and can be shortened to 33 in. The 8-Light, 48.5 in hangs to a maximum overall height of 70.5 in and can be shortened to 33 in. It hangs on 36 in of chain, adjusted at install.
Can it go on a sloped ceiling or in a bathroom?
It is rated for dry locations: dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and entries, but not bathrooms near the shower or covered porches.
Why We Love It
