The Orbet 18-Light Chandelier by Sean Lavin is a linear chandelier of milk glass orbs with an integrated LED inside each one. Eighteen milk glass orbs hang in two rows of nine beneath a 48-inch canopy, a slim line of pearls about 45 inches long. It comes in Nightshade Black or Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass, in 120V or 277V.
The Design Story
Sean Lavin took the pearl as his starting point for Orbet, which Visual Comfort calls the Trellis chandelier. Milk glass orbs hang on slim cables, each one with a thin metal band as a contrasting accent, and the LED inside lights the glass from within so it glows instead of glaring. The result is modern, minimal lighting at its simplest, and the series is built so single pendants and multi-port canopies can be combined into clusters of any size.

Orbet 18-Light is made for a dining table or kitchen island of average length, where a line of pearls reads better than a single round fixture. Visual Comfort suggests leaving about 30 to 36 inches between the bottom of the fixture and the table. Visual Comfort lists a minimum hanging height of 13.8 inches and a maximum of 109.8 inches. It ships with 12 feet of cable per pendant, which you cut to length on site before fastening the quick-connect pendant.
What is the difference between the 120V and 277V versions?
They are the same fixture, built for different supply voltages. Choose 120V for a typical home. The 277V version suits commercial buildings. The 120V version dims on ELV and Triac dimmers, and the 277V version dims on 0-10V.
