Pablo Studio is a tight-knit San Francisco team that picks one idea, refines it and strips it down to its essence. Their goal: objects that feel personal and a little surprising every time you use them.
The Design Story
Nivél comes from the Pablo Studio in San Francisco, where Pablo Pardo, a Venezuelan-born industrial designer, founded Pablo Designs in 1993. Pablo describes it as sitting at the intersection of functional lighting and furniture. As an adjustable-height side table, the Pedestal is sturdy enough to rest a few beverages on and nimble enough to be raised or lowered at a moment’s notice. The cordless Nivél Table and Floor won a 2023 Interior Design HiP Award.

Next to an armchair or beside the bed. Who it is not for: anyone who needs a wet-location or exposed outdoor piece (the standard rating is IP20) or a bright reading light (it is 425 lumens of ambient glow).
