Millennial is an outdoor post light from Maxim Lighting. It measures 5.5 in (14 cm) wide by 19.5 in (49.5 cm) high. Seedy glass is paired with a Black finish.
The Design Story
Millennial wraps a capsule of clear seeded glass in a matte black powder coat cage. The look is contemporary, yet transitional enough to sit with modern or traditional architecture. A wall sconce, hanging pendant and post or pier mount, rated damp and wet, let it light a porch, patio or gate pier. A tubular filament lamp completes the effect.
Why You’ll Love It
It takes E26 Medium bulbs up to 60W per socket, which makes it easy to choose your own color temperature and brightness. Materials: aluminum, glass.
Not sure which finish to pick? Finishes explained walks through the options.
Putting It Together
Maxim posts an assembly sheet (PDF) for this fixture. Outdoor fixtures need a weatherproof junction box and a GFCI-protected circuit, so we recommend a qualified electrician for the install.

Questions We Hear Most
How big is the Millennial outdoor post light?
It measures 5.5 in (14 cm) wide by 19.5 in (49.5 cm) high.
Which bulbs does it use, and can I dim it?
Each socket takes an E26 Medium bulb up to 60W. A warm 2700K LED bulb gives a soft, welcoming glow. Bulbs are not included.
How does it mount?
It mounts on top of an outdoor post or pole; the post is sold separately. A post light along a walk is usually set so the light sits about 6 to 7 ft above the ground.
Can it handle rain and weather?
Yes. It is wet rated, so it can take direct rain and snow on an open wall, post or yard, as well as covered porches.
Why We Love It
A clear seeded glass capsule in a matte black cage, as sconce, pendant or pier mount.
