Mill Outdoor Grande is a very tall floor lamp built for decks, terraces and big living rooms. A stainless steel post rises almost 8 feet from a round weighted base, runs out in a clean horizontal arm and ends in a conical shade that throws light down over a seating group. With an integrated 3-step touch dimmer, a winterized cover in the box and a 5 year warranty, it is made to stay outside and look good doing it.
The Design Story
Sean Lavin designed the Mill family around one confident proportion: a very tall, very thin post and a long arm that lets the shade hang out over the space it lights. In the Grande size the idea is stretched as far as it will go, so a single lamp covers a sofa, a lounge chair or a dining corner. The shade is a simple cone, the arm is a simple line, and the effect is calm, architectural and unfussy, which is exactly what an outdoor room wants.

Mill Outdoor Grande is an outdoor floor lamp with a stainless steel body and a metal conical shade, ETL listed and supplied with a winterized cover and 8 feet of cloth cord. The LED is rated for more than 60,000 hours to L70, and the lamp is protected by a 5 year warranty. It also works indoors in large rooms with generous ceilings.

Where It Shines
Over an outdoor sofa, beside a lounge chair on a terrace, at the corner of a pergola or on a covered deck. Indoors, it suits a large living room, a loft or a double-height space.
Who This Is Not For
If you have a low ceiling or a small balcony, the 96.6 inch height and 50.8 inch reach will be too much. It is also not a spotlight. A 550 lumen warm glow is for atmosphere and seating areas, not for work surfaces.
