Midrand Crystal 26 Vanity by Sean Lavin for Visual Comfort

The Midrand Crystal 26 Vanity by Sean Lavin is a modern LED vanity light for the bath. It has three brass cones with crystal diffusers, 25.5 inches wide, on a slim bar and a square backplate. It comes in Bronze or Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass.

The Design Story

Visual Comfort traces the Midrand collection to the silhouette of the conical Grand Central Water Tower near Johannesburg in South Africa. Sean Lavin turned that form into geometric, streamlined metal shapes and paired them with crystal diffusers, and here a row of small cones hangs from a slim bar on a square backplate. The result is a clean bath light with a strong outline and a soft, inviting glow.

Why You'll Love It

Midrand Crystal 26 Vanity is made for a single-sink mirror or a bath wall of average width. It is the mid-size one of the family, with three lights. It is 25.5 inches wide, 5 inches tall and 5.7 inches deep, and it weighs 5 lbs. The integrated LEDs give 1118 lumens at 2700K and 90 CRI, and they dim on 0-10V, ELV and Triac dimmers.

Built for Damp Locations

Midrand Crystal 26 Vanity is ETL listed, and Visual Comfort lists it for indoor damp locations and outdoor spaces under cover, such as a covered porch or an open-air pavilion. The light source is an integrated LED, so there are no bulbs to replace. It is Title 24 compliant.
