Meet the Designer
Designed by
Carmine Deganello with the Pablo Studio
For Carmine Deganello, a lamp begins with a material and an experiment. Based in Amsterdam and Milan, he has worked with Pablo for years, and his designs have been exhibited at Milan’s Triennale Design Museum and Vienna’s MAK. The Pablo Studio, the brand’s in-house team in San Francisco, engineered and refined it.
The Design Story
T.O was designed for Pablo Designs by Carmine Deganello, a Milan-based experimental product and architectural designer whose work is driven by research into materials. T.O is a harmonious dialogue between solidity and lightness: a slim wand of light that rotates a full 360 degrees, so the same lamp moves from focused task light to soft indirect ambience. The table and floor versions won a 2022 Interior Design HiP Award, a 2022 Architizer A+ Product Award and a place among Architectural Record’s Best Lighting Products of 2022.
Why You’ll Love It
The contrast of heavy marble and a light, floating wand is pure sculpture, and turning the wand changes the mood instantly.
Made for Real Life
Dimmable at the arm, 6-foot cord, 50,000-hour LED.
