With the Marash Wood Dining Armchair, sohoConcept and sohoConcept in-house design team set out to make an everyday armchair feel tailored: an upholstered seat on beech legs with chrome ring. Behind the quiet lines is contract-grade construction meant for years of daily use.
The Design Story
sohoConcept began in 2000 with a focus on the essentials: lasting construction, honest materials and a clean line. Its collection moves easily between residential rooms and contract projects, from the Paramount Hotel in Manhattan to Milos restaurant in Miami and The Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.
Inside, the armchair is built on a steel frame with S-shaped springs, molded injected polyurethane foam. The base is solid beech in a walnut finish with chrome leg rings. Each one is made in Türkiye. The Marash Wood Dining Armchair comes from sohoConcept's in-house design team and is built to the same contract standard as the rest of the collection.

At the head of a dining table, by a writing desk, or in a hotel suite.
Living With It
Clean leather-look and leather seats with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a little mild soap, then dry them. Vacuum woven fabrics with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away; never rub. Keep wood away from direct heat and sun, and dust it with a dry cloth. Wipe metal with a dry microfiber cloth; skip scouring pads.
