Finish. Malta is offered in walnut wood veneer or white lacquer.
Drawn by Tayfur Ozkaynak for sohoConcept, the Malta Low Bookcase with Drawers treats a bookcase as something to be looked at as much as used, built around a 72 in, walnut veneer or white lacquer. It is built to contract standards, for homes as well as restaurants and hotels.
The Design Story
sohoConcept began in 2000 with a focus on the essentials: lasting construction, honest materials and a clean line. Its collection moves easily between residential rooms and contract projects, from the Paramount Hotel in Manhattan to Milos restaurant in Miami and The Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.
Inside, the bookcase is built on a mDF with walnut wood veneer or white lacquer. Each one is made in Türkiye. Tayfur Ozkaynak designed the Malta for sohoConcept and offers the one silhouette on a choice of bases and heights, so the same design can carry from a dining room to a kitchen counter or a lounge.
