The Design Story

Sean Lavin drew the Lowing series as a deconstructed chandelier: no central hub, just glass orbs on slanted arms and textured cloth-covered cords, each one a perfect sphere on the outside with bands of thicker glass inside. The Medium keeps the idea in a lower, wider form, four globes on two arms that cross the stem at different heights so they never line up.
