The Design Story

Sean Lavin drew the Lowing series as a deconstructed chandelier: the usual central hub is gone, and glass orbs hang from slanted arms on textured cloth-covered cords, each one a perfect sphere on the outside with bands of thicker glass inside. The Grande is the full composition, six globes on three arms that stagger up and down the stem so the light is spread through the room like a slow, balanced mobile.
