With the Liu Jo Living Soft Island Indoor Armchair, sohoConcept set out to make an everyday armchair feel tailored: a frameless foam lounge chair. The construction is contract grade, so it is as suited to a busy restaurant as to a dining room.
The Design Story
Since 2000, sohoConcept has worked from one idea: strip a piece back to what matters, then build it to last. That clean-lined language is equally at home in a residence or a hotel; the studio's furniture has been specified for W Hotels New York, Aloft Brooklyn and the Delta Hotels in Toronto.
Inside, the armchair is built on a frameless molded polyurethane body, fully upholstered.
