Base finish
Drawn for sohoConcept, the Liu Jo Living Marsina Bar Stool treats a stool as something to be looked at as much as used, built around a removable fabric cover on black metal frame. Behind the quiet lines is contract-grade construction meant for years of daily use.
The Design Story
Since 2000, sohoConcept has worked from one idea: strip a piece back to what matters, then build it to last. That clean-lined language is equally at home in a residence or a hotel; the studio's furniture has been specified for W Hotels New York, Aloft Brooklyn and the Delta Hotels in Toronto.
Inside, the stool is built on a metal seat shell, legs and footrest in a black finish.
